Essentials include your Medallion for departure to and from the ship, beach towel from your stateroom, sunscreen, your phone, photo ID, a credit card and some cash for purchases at smaller vendors. Consider water shoes, a hat, and a refillable water bottle.

Please use your Medallion at bars, Medallion or credit card for payment at gift shops and cash for souvenirs at the artisan market. 

No, there is no ATM at the destination.

For ships that dock on the pier, it’s about a 5-minute stroll to the Arrival Plaza. Please note that some sailings may anchor off the coast and guests will take a water shuttle into RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay™. Water shuttles will drop off right at the destination’s entrance.

Yes. Complimentary trams shuttle guests around the destination (no reservations needed). Trams arrive every few minutes, but seats are first-come, first-served.

At a moderate walking pace, it would take approximately 10-15 minutes to walk between each tram station. 

Guests can rent beach mats, snorkel gear, kayaks, paddleboards, floatation devices, and noodles. Small personal floaties and personal snorkel gear are allowed. Guests can bring their own snorkeling equipment. 

Beach chairs and umbrellas are complimentary and can be found throughout the destination. Beach towels should be brought from the ship. 

Day lockers are available for rent throughout the destination. Lockers are located at each of the public restrooms or by the welcome center and one beach rental kiosk. Lockers fit small purses, drawstring bags, or wet/dry bags.

Guests may access their locker as many times as needed throughout the day.

Yes, Princess Plus and Premier packages will extend to RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Due to operating systems, the beverage packages will be honored only on the same side of the island that your Princess ship arrives (North or South).

Yes. Each beach grill at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay™ has gluten free, vegetarian, and nut free offerings for those with allergies or dietary preferences. Please let your server know of any food allergies before dining. 

No, outside food and beverages are not permitted. Complimentary lunch is available on the island.

Yes—in the arrival plaza, stop by the artisan market as well as a souvenir shop. Other retail venues can be found throughout the island. 

No, guests are responsible for carrying any purchases back to the ship. Guests should plan accordingly for fragile or bulky items.

RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay offers a variety of exciting shore excursions for guests to enjoy. Guests can explore the available options and book excursions by visiting the Princess Shore Excursions page.

Some water activities and shore excursions may have height, weight, or age restrictions. Details will be available on the Princess Shore Excursions page, in the Princess app or at the Shore Excursions desk on board.

You may reserve a daybed or cabana in advance through booked guest Manage Booking on the Princess website, the Shore Excursions page or the Princess app. If spots remain, you can also reserve once on board via the Princess app, or the Shore Excursions desk—and, on the island, visit Guest Services at the arrival plaza, the beach rental stand at Guava Beach, or the information Hut.

No. RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay does not have any adult-only areas on the island. 

Absolutely! RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay has family-friendly entertainment for all ages.

Spa services are not currently offered at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, but guests can enjoy a variety of peaceful beach areas for relaxation.

Princess weddings are currently not available

Yes! Guests with an active onboard internet plan can enjoy seamless complimentary Wi-Fi access at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, just as they do onboard the ship. For those without a plan, 24-hour internet packages are available for purchase onboard the ship, not on destination. Even without an internet plan, the Princess app remains accessible, keeping you connected.

Coverage varies by provider. Many guests will have roaming service in The Bahamas; check with your carrier for international roaming rates. Wi-Fi is available with a Princess onboard package or plan.

Yes, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay has trained lifeguards stationed at beach areas for safety. However, guests should always supervise children in the water.

Yes, cigarette, cigar, e-cigarette, vapes and pipe smoking are only permitted in designated smoking areas at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Guests can check destination maps for specific locations.

Yes. For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are prohibited:
• Glass containers
• Drones (except in designated areas with prior approval)
• Portable speakers
• Alcohol or food brought from the ship

Yes, life vests are available for adult guests and children at rental kiosks throughout.

Beach wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come basis. Strollers are not available.

We are committed to providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all our guests at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. The destination includes a variety of accessible features to ensure a comfortable experience for guests with disabilities, including designated accessible trams available on regular rotation throughout the island.

Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their accessible scooters to the port. Please note that there are no designated scooter charging stations.

Not currently, but we recommend checking with the onboard guest services team for updates. 

While there are no official quiet zones, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is a vast destination with plenty of room for guests to seek out a quieter area. 

Yes—certified service dogs may come ashore. Please notify Guest Services in advance. Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Emotional support animals are not permitted under cruise line policy and destination regulations.
