Safari Theme Park & Elephant Trek

Your half-day excursion begins at Nathorn Pier where you'll board your 4-WD vehicle for the approximately 45- minute trip to Island Safari Cultural Theme Park or a 25-minute trip to Na Muang Safari Park. You'll mount elephants and ride the mammoth beasts, caravan style, on a trek over the lush plantation, traveling through coconut groves.

Once you've reached your destination, there's much more in store. Learn how rubber trees are tapped for their sap and latex production. Attend an entertaining performance featuring the monkeys who scale the palms and harvest the coconuts and the elephants that carry the workload including riding an elephan through the camp. Observe a demonstration of traditional Thai cooking. After the show, you'll continue on to Na Muang Falls for a slower pace hike in a tranquil setting. Time-permitting, you can climb the trail rarely frequented by visitors, to the crystalline waterfall which cascades down a natural stone staircase to a refreshing pool.

You'll have opportunities to visit the local gift shops at both venues for souvenirs before returning back to the port and your cruise ship.

Special Notes:

Each 4WD vehicle accommodates approximately eight to ten passengers.

This tour does not travel off-road except for a short portion at the Na Muang Waterfall. Your return transfer may be arranged by a mini-van or a coach.
