WHAT YOU VISIT
- St. Barths
With its lush green hills, quintessential white sand beaches, and bustling capital, St. Barths packs a lot of paradise into eight tiny square miles. Discover all it has to offer with an independent sightseeing excursion you design yourself.

Make sure to bring your passport to clear immigration in St. Barths, then step aboard the "Pride of St. Barth's," a smooth-riding cruiser, and embark across the deep blue waters to the famed island of Saint-Barthélemy, long heralded as a playground for the rich and famous. You'll ride in air-conditioned comfort, enjoying fantastic views, refreshing soft drinks, water and cool towels.

Beach goers will want to head to one of 22 shorelines to take in the sun or snorkel in the crystalline waters along colorful coral reefs. Stroll past candy-colored buildings and distinctive Swedish colonial accents in Gustavia, the island's capital. If you're feeling adventurous, visit the salt ponds of Salines (according to legend, the famous French pirate, Montbars the Exterminator, buried his treasure here).

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Perched atop a hill overlooking the harbor, the remains of the 18th century Fort Gustav boast amazing views of Gustavia.

LUNCH
Treat yourself to lunch at any of the island's charming cafés. In this little corner of the Caribbean you'll find French classics such as escargots and Creole favorites like accras, which are little deep-fried fritters made with codfish and flour, served with a spicy sauce.

SHOPPING
Everything French can be found in the stores and boutiques in St. Barths and the neighboring town of St. Jean. Most prices will be in Euros, however credit cards are widely accepted as well as the U.S. dollar.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your back as you gaze out over the turquoise waters that lie between Philipsburg and St. Barths.
