Board your comfortable transportation for a short scenic drive to the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences at Anthony's Key Resort. Anthony's Key Resort and the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences offer recreational and educational dolphin programs that are appropriate for all ages. Uniquely designed, the dolphin program offers participants the incredible opportunity to interact with the dolphins on the mammal's own initiative and natural curiosity. What a wonderful way to meet these playful, charming mammals of the sea.

Upon arrival, you will transfer to a small boat for a three minute ride across the lagoon to Bailey's Key, a dolphin facility located on a separate island. Home to a large family of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins, your day begins with a brief orientation at a beach front cabana there. Then, walk along a sugar sand beach and wade into the water until you are waist deep. A trained naturalist will be by your side and will give you a personal introduction to one of the resident dolphins.

Your knowledgeable trainer will describe the characteristics of the Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin and will educate you on their behaviors and life cycle. You will have an opportunity to touch and play with your friendly dolphin and even give it a salty kiss. You'll be amazed at how gentle and loving these creatures are and how much they seem to enjoy interacting with humans.
At the end of your encounter, take some wonderful photographs (in addition to those taken by our professional staff) and bid a fond farewell to your friends.

Prior to leaving Anthony's Key, you will have time for independent exploration and a tour of the Roatan Museum. You will also find a well stocked store for mementos and souvenirs. Professional photos that were taken of you and your new friends will be available for review and purchase in the store.

Special Notes:

This is not a swim with the dolphins, participants interact with dolphins from a submerged platform. The minimum age required to participate is 4 years old. Participation is limited. Women who are pregnant may not participate on this tour. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. All participants must wear the supplied life vest while in the water with the dolphins. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and adequate sun protection. Guests must be able to stand in waist deep water without assistance. For the safety of the dolphins, kindly remove all jewelry. The photo service at the venue is not affiliated with or provided by the cruise line. Any photos purchased from this service will be the passengers' responsibility.
