Where can I view a list of participating ports for Arrival Groups?

Arrival Groups are currently only available at the participating ports listed here. If your specific port isn't on the list yet, stay tuned as we continue to add new locations. 

Are all ports using or implementing Arrival Groups?

Not at this time. Since every port and terminal operates differently, Arrival Groups are being introduced gradually across select locations. This allows us to tailor the experience to each port and ensure everything runs smoothly. To view a list of participating ports, click here.

Why is Princess implementing Arrival Groups?

Arrival Groups were designed to create a more seamless and organized embarkation experience—helping you start your vacation with ease.

How do I know if my upcoming cruise will be using Arrival Groups?

If your sailing is eligible, you’ll receive an email before your trip with instructions to select your arrival time using the Princess® App. You can also visit our website for the latest updates on participating ports.

Is participation mandatory?

Yes. To help ensure a smooth experience for all guests, you’ll need to either select an Arrival Group in the Princess® App or have one automatically assigned to you.

When can I select my arrival time?

Arrival Group selection typically opens 30 days before your embarkation date.

How do I select my preferred arrival time?

1. Download or update to the latest version of the Princess® App.
2. Log in and tap “Arrival Groups” on the home screen.
3. Tap the "Select" button and choose your preferred available time slot.
4. Tap "Save" to confirm; a green checkmark will confirm your assigned group.

Can I select my time on the Princess website?

At this time, Arrival Groups selection is available exclusively in the Princess® App and cannot be selected on the website.

Where can I find my assigned Arrival Group time?

Your designated arrival window will appear on your boarding pass and in the Arrival Groups section of the app.

If my preferred group is not available, what should I do?

Arrival times are based on availability. If your preferred option is full, please select the closest available time to your schedule.

How can I ensure I get the best possible arrival time?

We recommend completing your OceanReady® Travel Checklist as early as possible. Once your checklist is complete, we’ll automatically assign an Arrival Group that aligns with your travel plans—such as flights or hotel stays—just before selection opens, starting 30 days prior to embarkation.

If I am assigned an Arrival Group, can I change it?

Yes. You may update your Arrival Group in the app once selection is open, as long as space is available.

What happens if I don't select a time?

If no selection is made, an Arrival Group will be automatically assigned to you 24 hours before embarkation.

Will I be separated from the group I am traveling with if a time slot is full?

If someone in your travel party has already selected an Arrival Group, you’ll be able to choose the same group—even if it appears full—so you can arrive together.

Are any guests exempt from these arrival windows?

Yes. Guests booked in Full Suites or the Sanctuary Collection are not required to follow assigned arrival times. Guests arriving via Princess Transfers are also accommodated based on their transfer schedule.

If you’re sailing in a Full Suite or the Sanctuary Collection, you’ll receive a gold-colored boarding pass with directions regarding your embarkation experience.

What if I have accessibility needs?

Guests with accessibility requirements will follow their assigned Arrival Group. Dedicated assistance and accessible lanes will be available at the terminal to support you throughout the embarkation process.

How strictly are arrival times enforced?

To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you arrive during your assigned window. If you arrive early, you may drop off luggage but will be asked to return at your designated time before entering the terminal.

Do I need to have my boarding pass when I arrive at the port?

Yes. For the smoothest check-in experience, please have your boarding pass ready when you arrive. For added convenience, you can access your OceanReady® boarding pass in the Princess® app and add it to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) for quick scanning at the port terminal.

What if I don't have my boarding pass when I arrive?

Our terminal team can assist you and verify your Arrival Group.

How can I access my boarding pass if I don't have internet at the port?

We recommend saving your boarding pass to your device’s digital wallet in advance (available in version 1.9 or later of the Princess® App), or taking a screenshot before arriving at the port for easy offline access.
