To reserve your car parking space: 

To arrange your car parking in Southampton, please visit Cruise and Passenger Services (CPS) to book via their website or call them on 0345 071 3939, no later than 31^st July 2026. Cruise and Passenger Services can also be contacted via email: info@cruiseparking.co.uk   

Please note you can secure your space 72 hours after you have booked your cruise holiday.   

If you intend to take a trailer on your car, you will need to book two spaces and be charged appropriately.  

If your cruise arrives back at a different terminal than it embarked on, CPS will move your car for you. With the exception of if you have a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) which uses a wheelchair as the drivers seat, CPS cannot move your vehicle and will arrange an assistance taxi to transfer you to your vehicle. 

Please note: the valet parking service by Cruise and Passenger Services is the only available service inside the Southampton port estate.  

Important: Car parking must be booked by 31st July 2026 which is prior to your departure date. 

If you are eligible for complimentary car parking and this has been confirmed by Princess Cruises at the time of booking, you must confirm the reservation of your parking space with Cruise and Passenger Services no later than 90 days prior to departure.   

Once booked, you will be sent a confirmation pack with all the details and a parking sticker for your car.

Arriving at the terminal in Southampton 

Upon arrival at the appropriate cruise terminal designated by your cruise operator:

You will be directed to the appropriate vehicle lane by a member of port security

From here you will be met by a member of our reception staff who will book your vehicle and carry out relevant security procedures. You will be issued a barcoded receipt.

Once checked in, you will be asked to remove all your luggage from the vehicle and the driver will take your vehicle to a secure compound within the port. 

You are then able to proceed with your luggage to the luggage drop point and then into the terminal to check-in for your cruise. Trolleys are available within the car park.

On return, once you have picked up your luggage and passed through customs, you will be directed from the terminal to the key collection point. You will then be directed to the relevant area of the car park where your vehicle is located. There will be marshals on hand to assist further. 

Please note that Cruise and Passenger Services do not offer complimentary parking for blue badge holders, and there are no such facilities offered at each of the terminals in Southampton. See accessibility section for more information. 

Please note there are no accessibility bays at the cruise terminal. If you have accessibility needs, you'll be directed to a mobility receiving lane* where your car will be checked in, and porterage assistance is available to help with your luggage.  

*Mobility assistance is available once inside the terminal if needed. 

If you have booked disabled parking, we will endeavour to park your car as close to the key collection point as possible, please be advised, due to high volumes of blue badge vehicles, this is not always possible. If you return and find your car is parked too far away, please speak with one of our marshals who will be happy to bring your vehicle to you.

There are no Electrical Vehicle charge points at the port. CPS, our parking provider, can offer trickle charging as part of their parking package on a first come first served basis. 

Cancelling or transferring your booking 

Car Parking 

If you've chosen the car parking  campaign benefit, there will be no cancellation charge for the parking services, and your car parking booking will automatically be cancelled along with your cruise booking.  

If you have booked your car parking directly with Cruise and Passenger Services and paid them directly, their terms and conditions apply in this scenario. Please contact them via their website or call CPS on 0345 071 3939. 

Should you transfer your cruise to an alternative sailing then you will need to rebook your parking with Cruise and Passenger Services whether you are booking independently with them or if your new cruise has the car parking campaign benefit offer applied to it.  

Please note, the car parking benefit on your current cruise, this may not be available on the cruise you are transferring to as the promotion is subject to availability.  

Car Parking 

If a situation arises where you have had to leave the ship early and your car is parked with Cruise and Passenger Services, please contact them directly to arrange a convenient time for collection.   If you are delayed collecting your car, please contact Cruise and Passenger Services who will make sure your car remains in a safe and secure car park until the you are ready to collect it. Additional charges may apply.

*The “Free parking when you sail from Southampton” offer is valid on selected roundtrip Southampton voyages of 7 nights or more and is subject to availability.
