From the lowest level of the atrium to the top deck, Royal Princess offers public spaces to keep passengers busy day and night:
Deck 5 – Plaza:
In the Lotus Spa, cruisers will find a welcoming feel and contemporary, sophisticated décor, as well as more treatment rooms than any other Princess spa. Private Couples Villas and The Enclave – a thermal suite triple the size of any existing Lotus Spa – add a new dimension to the spa’s amenities. Here passengers can totally decompress with new relaxing options such as the Hammam (a Turkish-style steam room), the Caldarium (an herbal steam room), the Laconium (a dry heat sauna) and the line’s first-ever hydro-therapy pool.
The social hub of the ship, and a Princess signature space, the Italian-style Piazza has been expanded on Royal Princess to enhance the lively street-café atmosphere that is a favorite of Princess passengers. With more open space for viewing live entertainment in the Piazza from decks 6 and 7, as well as new venues that appear to float mid-air, this new atrium represents a prototype design that builds on the line’s classic style. Mini-Piazza with Water Feature
Just adjacent to the Piazza, a sparkling water feature sets off this area that is home to the Passenger Services Desk and Shore Excursion Desk. This dazzling Mini-Piazza provides a special atmosphere for passengers making a visit to ask questions of Princess’ gracious crew members.
Princess’ signature Tuscan-inspired specialty restaurant is known for its celebrated pastas, seafood and Italian specialties. Sabatini’s features a fresh menu of sophisticated Italian favorites with an a la carte experience. With a refined yet casual Italian ambiance, Sabatini’s offers attentive personal service and the feeling of having just stepped into a ristorante in the heart of Tuscany. Seats 120
As on most Princess ships, the International Café serves up fresh-baked pastries, panini sandwiches, salads, fresh-baked cookies specialty coffees, and sweet desserts. But aboard Royal Princess this favorite venue also offers an expanded seating area and an eye-catching new lighting feature, making it the perfect area to grab a light meal, meet friends for coffee or enjoy an a snack while watching the array of Piazza entertainers. Celebrations Gift Shop
A new shopping stop, Celebrations offers gifts especially for passengers marking a special occasion, or those looking for a well-deserved indulgence. Passengers will find premium chocolates, colorful flower arrangements, and other gift items perfect for someone enjoying a special day.
For a delicious desert or afternoon delight, Royal Princess’ gelateria serves up a variety of tempting treats such as designer sundaes, sweet crespelle (Italian crepes), creamy fruit smoothies, frosty shakes, and delightful homemade waffle ice cream cones. Seats 35
A Princess passenger favorite, Vines wine bar pours as many as 30 different wines by the glass, plus serves up a selection of tapas to accompany the many vintages. Vines is also a convenient pre-dinner gathering place for Sabatini’s patrons, and the bar will also tempt with Sabatini’s Bites – small tastes of such dishes as Tuscan Brochettes, Beef Carpaccio and Lamb Chop Lollipops for passengers to sample. Featuring a tea sommelier and a choice of 250 blends, tea lovers will revel in Royal Princess’ unique tea tower located in the ship’s central Piazza. Here passengers can enjoy pre-blended tea varieties or create their own custom flavors. The ship’s tea sommelier, an expert on tea blends, hosts tea tasting events and a new Royal Afternoon Tea Experience, inspired by some of the most famous tea spots in London.
This full communications center features 15 state-of-the-art computer stations offering access to the Internet day and night. Passengers can also log on to ship-wide Wi-Fi with their own devices.
Symphony Dining Room

Deck 6 – Fiesta:
The largest Princess Theater ever, with unobstructed sight lines from every seat, the theater offers high-definition screens and a brand new lighting system to enhance each show. The line’s original production shows and entertainers present four new productions on its stage, including “Colors of the World,” an experiential journey through the destinations visited by Princess ships; “Spectacular!” a musical revue extravaganza; “Sweet Soul Music,” an upbeat tribute to Rhythm and Blues; and “What the World Needs Now,” a timeless, elegant show celebrating the music and style of the ‘60s. Royal Princess’ energetic new dance club, conveniently located on Deck 6 near the atrium, Club 6 offers a vibrant space with an intimate atmosphere and contemporary decor. The Princess Casino aboard Royal Princess features the latest slots and table games. This brand new Italian-inspired cocktail venue is a perfect place to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the atrium’s activities while indulging in a Bellini-inspired drink. Passengers will also enjoy views of the Piazza below in this “floating” space. Seats 35

Passengers can meet here with the ship’s Captain’s Circle representative and plan their next Princess vacation in this inviting space.
The ship’s new television studio, a first for Princess, features programming throughout the day from 8 am until midnight. Passengers can enjoy live talk shows, demonstrations and performers here, including the daily “Wake Show.” With seating for just under 300, the space gives passengers a more intimate opportunity to meet the ship’s entertainers, play games and enjoy refreshments with the dedicated café. Princess Live! Café
Adjacent to Royal Princess’ unique television studio, the café serves up barista-style coffee and tea selections, accompanied by daily changing quick-bite food selections. After 5 pm, the bar offers up a menu of aperitifs and digestifs. Seats 40
Crown Grill & Wheelhouse Bar
The Crown Grill premium seafood and chop house has been blended with the popular Wheelhouse Bar for a complete evening of dining and entertainment in one location. These traditional spaces feature a new contemporary look that modernizes the rich club-like atmosphere of the Crown Grill and the nautical Wheelhouse Bar. With its signature theater-style open kitchen, the Crown Grill sets the stage for a menu of chops, seafood and premium Sterling Silver steaks. Meanwhile the Wheelhouse Bar offers comfortable place to sip a drink and enjoy live piano entertainment. The location also features a free daily pub lunch. Seats 104 and 70, respectively

An updated Vista Lounge at the aft of the ship serves as an alternate evening performance venue, offering a more intimate entertainment setting. The Vista Lounge hosts a variety of top-notch entertainers each night, from live bands to comedians and illusionists, plus themed parties and special events.
Deck 14 – Riviera:
An intimate wedding chapel is used for Princess’ wedding-at-sea program and for renewal-of-vows ceremonies.
For the first time on a Princess ship, suite passengers have use of a dedicated concierge lounge, an exclusive area to relax or work, with access to full front desk services, plus light snacks and beverages. Here, these passengers have dedicated staff to assist with such things as shore excursions, specialty dining or Lotus Spa reservations. The space also serves as a private disembarkation lounge for suite passengers. Seat 24
Deck 16 – Lido:
Fountain Pool/ Plunge Pool
These two fresh water pools flank an island area between them. During the day passengers can relax and rejuvenate poolside in a variety of seating options, including circular loungers, garden-style furniture, bar-height tables and stools, and chaise lounges. At night, the pool area transforms with architectural lighting effects to set the mood. The island area becomes a stage showcasing an interactive sound and light show featuring dancing fountains. With a sophisticated lighting and sound system, and a computerized fountain featuring 85 water jets, passengers can marvel as streams of water shoot 33 feet into the night sky.
A perennial Princess passenger favorite, Prego serves up freshly made Italian-style pizza by the slice, featuring classic flavors and a daily special. Seats 128

In addition to the hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches passengers love at the Trident Grill, aboard Royal Princess this poolside spot will transform into a traditional smokehouse-style barbecue each evening, serving up hearty plates of jumbo chicken wings, Route 66 beef chili, Texas-style barbecue brisket, Kansas City Sweet & Smoky Pork Spare Ribs, and North Carolina Pulled Pork. Extending 28 feet beyond the starboard side of the ship, the SeaWalk is one of Royal Princess’ most striking features. At 60 feet long and hovering 128 feet above the ocean, this dramatic glass-bottomed walkway offers unparalleled views available on no other ship. Just as the captain on the bridge can look through glass panels in the floor of the bridge to get a look at the sea conditions below, passengers can now have that same sense of stepping out from the side of the ship for a breathtaking experience.
Opposite the ship’s signature SeaWalk, the SeaView bar also extends over the waves for dramatic views. This beach-style bar serves up tropical cocktails while bartenders dazzle the crowds with daily flair bartending shows. At midday and sunset talented bartenders will show off their impressive bottle-tossing and mixing skills. Seats 30
This poolside shopping area specializes in snacks and sun-care products for fun in the sun.
Passengers can enjoy a refreshing soft-serve cone complete with dipping sauces and sprinkles or splurge on other ice cream treats.
The larger Horizon Court buffet features a brand-new layout, new action stations, intriguing new bistro options – such as the Crab Shack and Fondues restaurant – and even a dedicated pastry shop, an industry first. Seats 1,118
This top-deck bar celebrates throughout the day and includes a Margarita Bar starting a lunch time, accompanied by made-to-order burritos, crispy pork flautas, barbecued pork fajitas, fresh tortilla chips with guacamole and Mexican salsa to keep the fiesta going into the night. The drink menu includes 12 specialty margaritas, Sunsational Slushies, and a morning Bloody Mary bar. Seats 30
Deck 17 – Sun:
This oasis of tranquility features a 20 percent larger space than on Princess’ other ships. On Royal Princess, The Sanctuary adds four private Sanctuary Cabanas for a more luxurious experience, plus two Lotus Spa Cabanas offering an elegant private space for a range of spa treatments. Passengers can relax on luxurious plush lounge chairs or circular daybeds, while Serenity Stewards provide healthy refreshments and music players with peaceful music. Space in The Sanctuary can be reserved for $20 for a half day/$40 for a full day, per person. Cabanas are available beginning at $80 for a half day. Seats 62
Adjacent to The Sanctuary, the Retreat Pool offers an exclusive area for adults to relax and rejuvenate. The Retreat Pool on Royal Princess will offer more space and seating than the adult pools on other Princess vessels, plus add new Retreat Cabanas that can be reserved for an enhanced experience. These cabanas are the perfect way to enjoy private space poolside. The Retreat Pool is open to all adults, and Retreat Pool Cabana rental will be available beginning at $50 for a half day. At night, this area will turn into the “Chill Lounge,” offering passengers a relaxed outdoor space to enjoy the night with drinks and music.

Fitness Center/Aerobics Studio
The Fitness Center pairs a state-of-the-art gym with spectacular ocean views. This multi-tiered facility offers something for all fitness levels, so everyone from beginner to expert can find challenging exercise options. Passengers can use the latest in exercise equipment like treadmills, recumbent bicycles, elliptical machines, strength equipment, as well as a selection of free weights. Most equipment features personal TV screens, and some even offer an interactive, virtual experience that makes exercising a bit more fun and engaging.
The ship offers expanded space for youth centers, adding a new level to the onboard experience for young passengers. All age groups will find more space with dedicated outdoor areas, including a new teen lounge. Toddlers can also join the fun with a special fun area just for kids under 3.
Deck 18 – Sports:
Movies Under the Stars
Not only is the Movies Under the Stars screen 30 percent larger than on other Princess ships, it is currently the largest such screen at sea – measuring 34 feet wide by 20 feet high. Naturally Princess’ signature poolside theater will have a variety of movies and concert playing on the big screen, offering passengers a great view while they relax on a comfortable lounger snuggled under a cozy fleece blanket and snack on complimentary fresh-popped popcorn or delicious cookies and milk.
Princess Sports Central
The multi-sport area on decks 18 and 19 is designed to offer a collection of fun options, including court games, lawn activities and even a lounge for virtual gaming. The Center Court can be used for basketball, tennis, volleyball and badminton, while baseball fans can even practice their swing at the portable batting cage. Golfers will find a driving range facility, while the simulated laser shooting range offers a new onboard activity. The Game Lounge will offer a comfortable space to meet up for games, including table tennis and virtual gaming with KinectTM systems.
This new double-lane jogging track features separate paths for runners and walkers. In addition, a new circuit program with unique outdoor exercise stations makes it the perfect place for passengers who want to burn a few extra calories or work on strength moves al fresco. This modern outdoor fitness equipment will offer a new option for those who wish to work out on deck and enjoy the sea air. The track area will be decorated with art picturing iconic global travel destinations, giving passengers the opportunity to “run around the world.”
Deck 19 – Sky:
On the upper level of Sports Central, the Lawn Court offers a grassy area for putting, bocce ball, croquet and lawn bowling.
