What you will visit:
Old Town Seville, Plaza de España, Palace Las Dueñas, Flamenco Dance Museum
Seville is over 2,000 years old, and the influence of the various civilizations gives it a distinct personality. It's historic Old Town, boasting several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, exhibits strong medieval, Renaissance and baroque inspirations as well as heavy influences from Arabic culture. A labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets leads to quaint flora-filled squares where locals meet to stroll.
Plaza de Espana
Located within Maria Luisa Park, the Plaza de Espana is a magnificent architectural complex built as the central Spanish pavilion during the World Exhibition in 1929. Plaza de Espana reflects all provinces of Spain, and its stately red brick façade is ornately covered entirely with decorative ceramic tiles.
Palace Las Duenas
Home of the Duchess of Alba until her death in 2014, the majestic Palace Las Duenas was built between the 15th and 16th centuries in the Gothic Mudejar style. In the 20th century, it became the meeting point for members of the European royal families and high society, such as Jackie Kennedy, WallĂs Simpson, Grace Kelly and her husband Rainier of Monaco, who enjoyed its graceful arcaded courtyard and picturesque gardens scented by lemon trees. The palace was opened to the public in March 2016.
Flamenco Dance Museum
The modern and interactive 'Museo de baile de Flamenco' is located in a restored Sevillian house in the historical center of the city. The museum showcases all aspects of the flamenco dance, and guests enjoy an immersive experience with dancing ateliers, artistic exhibitions of instruments and costumes, interactive lessons and the recounting of the history of flamenco told through a multimedia show. Within the pretty surroundings of the museum, a special and exclusive flamenco lesson led by a dynamic teacher is a way to learn the intricate steps of this energetic and passionate Spanish dance.
What you will see along the way:
