Board your motorcoach at the pier and take a scenic drive north from Vigo, crossing the Strait of Rande and passing Pontevedra en route to the Galician wine country.

Upon arrival at the Agro de Bazan Winery, Galicia's premium estates, you'll get a tour and sample its three Albariño wines for a horizontal tasting of this popular Spanish varietal. The three types are as follows: Granbazan Ambar features a classic straw color with flavors of ripe fruit, fennel and flower petals. Granbazan Verde offers classic Albariño aromas with hints of apple and fennel. Contrapunto's fresh fruit aromas features pleasant floral notes.

From the winery, you'll travel to the village of Cambados, heart of the Albariño wine. At the Parador de Cambados, formerly a 17th century Galician country manor and now a state-owned hotel, you will have the chance to taste more regional reds and whites, along with a selection of tapas accompanied by coffee, tea or soft drinks.

You'll have opportunities to buy bottles at the winery and in town before heading back to Vigo.

Special Notes:

In Cambados there is an approximate 20 minute walk over cobbles from the motorcoach drop-off point to the Parador of Cambados refreshment venue.

At the winery and Cambados, only Euros and major credit cards are accepted.

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Medical Restriction:

This tour may be recommended for disabled passengers provided they have a carer as tour guides will not be able to spend time taking care of them to the detriment of the rest of the group. Those passengers on wheelchairs should be able to climb a few steps to enter/leave the coaches.
