Experience the Ka'a'awa and Hakipu'u valleys on this tour to one of Hawaii's premier attractions, the 4,000-acre Kualoa Ranch. Stretching from ocean to mountaintop, the northern half of the ranch boasts famous movie locations from blockbuster hits like Jurassic Park, LOST, Hawaii 5-0, Pearl Harbor, Windtalkers and more. The southern half includes Hakipu'u, an 800-year old Moli'i fishpond, Secret Island and endless coastal views.
Begin your day of exploration with the scenic drive from the pier to Kualoa Ranch. Here, you'll transfer to your tour vehicle, an open-air rustic school-style bus (which adds to the charm), and start your narrated tour of Kualoa's movie sites. Traveling through the gorgeous 1,000-acre Ka'a'awa Valley, your guide will point out and discuss the background of several noted movie locations.
You can check out the Jurassic Park site, find Godzilla's footprints, and see the famous battlefield from the movie Windtalkers. Listen as your guides tell you about Pearl Harbor, 50 First Dates, George of the Jungle, You, Me & Dupree and LOST! As you head back to Kualoa Ranch headquarters, you'll have the opportunity to sit down in the restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch. Enjoy BBQ pork ribs, mango pineapple teriyaki chicken, Kualoa chili, rice, fresh pineapple wedges, buttered corn and tossed greens. Afterwards, stop by the gift shop to check out the ranch wear, Hawaiian crafts, tasty treats, handcrafted jewelry, artfully designed wood carvings and a great selection of items for the keiki (child).
To complete this immersive Hawaiian adventure, you'll re-board your transportation and enjoy the sights and sounds of the return trip to the pier.
