DAY ONE
WHAT YOU VISIT
Lalibela Game Reserve
Situated on South Africa's temperate Eastern Cape, the reserve is home to the Big 5 (lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos and leopards), as well as other predators like cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and lynx. You'll feel instantly at home when you check in at the reserve's Kichaka Lodge; an all-inclusive oasis built of stone and thatch, the suites are situated in secluded settings ensuring total privacy and a real sense of space. The suites are connected to the main lodge by walkways which wind through the natural bush. After check in, enjoy afternoon treats and a game drive and an evening drive before dinner.

DAY TWO
WHAT YOU VISIT
Lalibela Game Reserve
The day begins with an early morning game drive and breakfast followed by leisure time at the lodge, lunch, afternoon tea, an early evening game drive and dinner.

DAY THREE
WHAT YOU VISIT
Lalibela Game Reserve
Enjoy one last early morning wakeup call before you embark on a game drive. Upon your return to the lodge, you'll have breakfast and meet your guide who will transfer you to Port Elizabeth Harbor where you'll rejoin your ship

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
The Lalibela Game Reserve spans five ecosystems, resulting in a breathtaking diversity of flora and fauna. Stretched out over a sprawling 26,000 acres, the reserve can easily sustain vast herds of free-roaming lions, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, and blesbucks (known for their distinctive white face and forehead). Game drives take place in order to coincide when wildlife is most active--early morning and late evening.

MEALS
Your breakfasts, lunches and dinners are prepared with an emphasis on local specialties that range from centuries-old recipes to contemporary African dishes.

Special Notes:

Due to this tour's popularity, exclusivity, and strict booking conditions, tour bookings must be confirmed 90 days prior to the call of the overland's departure. Any cancellations thereafter are non-refundable and a 100% penalty will be applied to the reservation.
The contents and order of activities in this program are subject to change by the lodge management without prior notice, due to the prevailing weather conditions and movement of dangerous wildlife on the Game Reserve.
During early morning game drives in open vehicles it can be a little cool. We recommend that guests take along a windbreaker.
Guests are therefore advised not to forget their sunhats, sun block, sunglasses, as well as their cameras and binoculars.
Please note that the game drive vehicles traverse over uneven terrain and that the game-drives can be "bumpy". This tour is therefore not recommended for guests with back problems.
Tour not recommended for guests with wheelchairs or walking difficulties. Please consult physician before traveling. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
It is each guest's sole responsibility to obtain (before traveling) any visas, vaccinations or tourist cards that are required for participating in overland adventures or overnight tours, unless noted otherwise in the description.
