Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Your half-day tour starts when you meet your driver and friendly guide at the port. Enjoy a motorcoach ride to the medieval town of Bruges.
Bruges is the capital city of the province of West Flanders, where you will learn much about its history on an entertaining guided walk through the quaint, cobbled streets and past centuries-old buildings, including the marketplace with its impressive Guild Halls. View the Belfry that stands in the center of town, the Town Hall, the 12th-century Gothic Basilica of the Holy Blood, which used to be the residence of the Count of Flanders, and the Church of Our Lady, a 13th-century church (exterior views only).
Afterwards, you will enjoy an informative and fun chocolate demonstration, where you will learn all about the history of chocolate, how it is molded into different shapes, but more importantly, you'll have the opportunity to sample some. There will be time to purchase some Belgian chocolates if you wish and a brief independent visit to the Chocolate Museum.
Your tour ends with free time in Bruges, where you may browse for souvenirs, including local hand-made chocolates and Flemish lace.
