Muskeg Meadows Golf
Muskeg Meadows Golf Course in Wrangell delivers a one-of-a-kind golfing adventure surrounded by snow-capped peaks and rainforest. This USGA-rated, nine-hole course spans 5,920 yards, featuring dual flags for 18-hole play, a 250-yard driving range, and a practice green. Keep an eye out for local wildlife along the fairways and test your skills at its signature hole, #9, a 325-yard par 4, where a 30-foot-high rock blocks your view of the green. Stop by the pro shop for a piece of Muskeg Meadows' famous "Raven Rule" apparel to commemorate your day on the greens.

What you will see along the way:
The drive to Muskeg Meadows Golf Course is short but incredibly scenic. As you leave the dock area, you'll pass through the charming town of Wrangell, with its historic buildings and small local shops. You'll likely spot fishing boats in the harbor and may even catch sight of eagles perched nearby. Heading out of town, the road winds through lush temperate rainforest, thick with towering Sitka spruce and western hemlock. Keep an eye out for Sitka black-tailed deer grazing along the roadside and bald eagles soaring overhead. On clear days, you'll catch glimpses of snow-capped mountains in the distance.

A visit to the pro shop is a must! There, you'll find clothing and other golf items featuring the unique Muskeg Meadow logo, as well as shirts displaying the Raven Rule: "If a raven steals your ball, you may replace it without penalty-provided you have a witness."
