WHAT YOU VISIT
Berlin
Since its founding 700 years ago, Berlin has served as the epicenter of the country's history, art and culture. Once you arrive, you'll meet your local tour guide for a comprehensive coach tour through the capital city. Learn how after the fall of Communism in 1990 the city was restored as the capital and as a major world city. Reminders of the Cold War are evident in Checkpoint Charlie, the point separating East and West. Nearby, the 294-year-old Brandenburg Gate once used to represent the separation of the city between East and West Berlin now proudly symbolizes a unified Germany.

Kurfurstendamm Boulevard
Considered the Champs-Elysees of Berlin, Kurfurstendamm Boulevard is lined with shops, houses, hotels and restaurants.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
As you drive around town, pausing every so often for photos, you will see landmarks that include the remnants of the Berlin Wall; Reichstag, the seat of the German Parliament; the Holocaust Memorial.

LUNCH
Relax and refuel with a delightful lunch at a local restaurant.

SHOPPING
Germany's most famous shopping mile, the Hackesche Höfe, a vibrant area known for its courtyards and boutique stores.
