WHAT YOU VISIT
Yuasa Soy Sauce Ltd.
The soy sauce made here is produced in the traditional way and uses only pure ingredients without any additives, which makes the production process take between one and two years to create the finished product. A tour of the two-story Edo-period building includes the giant vats where "koji," an enzyme needed to break down starch into sugars and turn proteins into amino acids, is stored and a chance to visit the soy sauce shop.
