まずは井伊直継が約20年の歳月をかけ1622年に完成させた彦根城を訪問します。天守は、国宝5城のひとつで、天秤櫓や他の建物は重要文化材に指定されています。天守の最上階からは、琵琶湖を見下ろすことができます。続いて、玄宮園（読み：げんきゅうえん）を訪れます。1677年に完成したこの美しい大名庭園は、広大な池を中心に繊細に造られています。和食ランチをお召し上がりいただいたあと、長浜の黒壁スクエアに立ち寄ります。長浜市旧市街にある黒壁スクエアでは、伝統的な建築が集まっており、レトロな雰囲気を楽しむことができます。江戸から明治の時代にかけて建設された建物が現在はギャラリー、レストラン、カフェとして生まれ変わっています。約1時間の自由時間でこのエリアの散策を各自で楽しんだら、バスで港に戻ります。
Take a scenic drive from pier to Hikone Castle. This castle was completed in 1622 by Ii Naotsugu, the second lord of Ii family. The donjon has three stories, rises 24 metres and has white walls with beautifully variegated roofs. The castle is a National Treasure, while Tenbin Yagura (turret) and the other buildings are Important Cultural Properties. Afterwards, spend time at Genkyu Garden. Built in 1677, this beautiful scenic spot was an imitation of the Imperial Villa of China Tang Dynasty.
Next stop is Kurokabe Square in Nagahama. Located in Nagahama Old town, Kurokabe Square boasts its traditional architectures clustered in one area. The buildings built from Edo to Meiji Period are now turned into galleries, restaurants and cafes. You will have some free time to explore this area before heading back to ship in a comfortable motorcoach.

※彦根城では約200段の階段の昇降があります。また、靴を脱いで入場します。また、駐車場から天守閣、玄宮園を経由して駐車場に戻りますが、トータルで1-2km以上歩きます。歩行に問題のある方は参加をお勧めしません。
