Tromsø Panoramic Drive & Cable Car
Admire the spectacular good looks with a ride on the cable car up Mt. Storsteinen. Following a panoramic coach tour of Tromsø, you'll cross the Tromsø Bridge, which traverses the Tromsøysundet Strait. Then, it's just minutes to the foot of Mt. Storsteinen where you'll board a spacious cable car with high, protective glass that affords mesmerizing 360° views. The enjoyable five-minute ride travels 420 meters above sea level (1,377 feet) to the summit's large outdoor terrace. From this towering height you'll have spectacular views of the snow-capped Lyngen Alps, deep blue fjords, Tromso's skyline including the Arctic Cathedral and Tromsdalstinden, the highest mountain in Tromso.

Mt. Storsteinen offers views of Tromsø, the forested island of Tromsøya, fjords and the surrounding mountains. As you return to the ship, you'll be treated to a number of photo stops.

If the bridge is closed then it will not be possible to get a close view of the cathedral. However, a distant view of the cathedral from a distant photo stop is possible. Tromsø bridge may be closed without notice for maintenance or weather conditions. If the bridge is closed tunnels will be used, which may affect sightseeing.
