After a leisurely drive past Tromsø's main sites, you'll continue across the Tromsø Bridge, the first bridge to connect the mainland and the island. Once over the strait, it's just minutes to the foot of Mt. Storsteinen where you'll board a spacious cable car with high, protective glass that affords mesmerizing 360° views. The enjoyable five-minute ride travels 420 meters above sea level (1,377 feet) to the summit. Exit at the top and have your camera ready to capture the beauty of the city of Tromsø, the forested island of Tromsøya, fjords and the surrounding mountains.
