Your tour begins as you board your transportation for a scenic drive through Port of Spain to the Royal Botanic Gardens.

En route, pass the lighthouse and the striking Red House, the seat of Parliament in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago built in German Renaissance style. Along your route, drive past the Magnificent Seven, a group of extravagant and eccentrically designed mansions lining the western side of the Queen's Park Savannah, built around the turn of the century. Keep your camera ready for photo opportunities at virtually every turn.

Upon arriving at the Royal Botanic Gardens, take a short stroll among a cool, shady enclave of exotic trees and tropical flowers, and capture a photo or two. Continue onward with a short drive to Lady Young Lookout for a stunning panoramic view of Port of Spain.
Next on your itinerary is the town of Laventille for the well-known Angostura Distillery. Here, you'll view a 10-minute orientation video and take a guided tour of a museum, complete with an Emperor Butterfly collection and historical items of the Seigert family line, creators of Angostura Aromatic Bitters.

A guided tour of the complex takes you through the rum blending area, storage coppers, and the bottling line. Witness the production from scratch to finish of the bitters, a well-known concoction of herbs, spices, barks and peels of fruits and trees; with an added secret ingredient that's been a mystery for over 175 years.

Before your return drive to the pier, browse the gift shop for souvenirs and enjoy a complimentary token bag filled with mini samples of Angostura Bitters and Rum.
