Your tour begins as you board your transportation for a scenic, 30-minute drive to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. Be sure to have your camera ready for photo opportunities.
Upon arriving at the sanctuary, board a flat-bottom boat and cruise the pristine network of dense mangroves, remote canals and shallow lagoons. Your naturalist guide will point out unique flora and fauna, while you keep a watchful eye out for heron, osprey, and the Scarlet Ibis, just a few of the more than 130 bird species typically found in this unique wetland ecosystem. Although wildlife sightings are common, they're not guaranteed.
After nearly 90 minutes of exploration, board your transportation for the drive back to the pier.
