WHAT YOU VISIT
St. Andrew's Church
Erected in 1894, the Anglican landmark boasts Andalusian and European architectural styles and built with the help of Moroccan Fassi craftsmen. Outside, the bell tower takes the form of a minaret and green Fassi tiles decorate the rooftop. Inside, St. Andrews is the only church where the Lord's Prayer is carved in Arabic around the chancel arch.
Mershan Square
Perched on a plateau above the Kasbah, this bustling neighborhood of high-rises, parks, designer boutiques and merchants selling food, spices and clothing sits outside the historic city walls with sweeping sea views looking out over the Strait of Gibraltar.
Cap Spartel
Situated 1,000 above sea level, the promontory sits at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. Located in Cap Spartel Nature Reserve, the Mediterranean and Atlantic waters meet here.
