What you will visit:
Asilah
Asilah is a charming fortified seaside town on the northwestern tip of Morocco's Atlantic coast. Once a Phoenician (1500 BC) trading port, Asilah is a true melting pot of cultures, given its change of hands through the years coupled with its proximity to Spain. It has a relaxed way of life, a wonderful mix of architecture, colorful wall murals that brighten the narrow streets, and pretty beaches that are perfect for fun in the sun. The cobblestoned medina (old town) is a treasure trove of Spanish, Portuguese and Moorish architecture. You'll be welcomed through carved archways into a historic area that charms with its crowded souks, a central plaza, and soft blue and white painted buildings.
What you will see along the way:
Settle in for a 60-minute drive to Asilah and enjoy the ever-changing scenery and coastal vistas.
