This truly unique journey into Britain's heritage starts when you meet your guide and driver at Southampton Docks for a motorcoach ride to the fascinating ancient monument of Stonehenge.

Stonehenge remains as compelling today as it was to the people who built the first phase over 5,000 years ago. Download for free the Stonehenge App, which turns your mobile device into your personal audio guide and hop on the short shuttle to see the mythical stones, which were fenced off in 1977 due to erosion. You will, however, be able to walk along the encircling pathway for stunning close up views, learn from the Stonehenge App about the genesis of this unique site, including archaeological evidence about the builders, their religious beliefs, primitive tools and methods.

After taking lots of pictures and browsing the visitor's center, you will then head to stunning Salisbury. Stroll through the town center at your leisure where you can view the charming 13th-century Gothic-style cathedral.

The cathedral spire is a sight to behold, soaring 400 feet into the sky, and dominating the landscape for miles around. Should you decide to enter the cathedral at your own expense, you will find that it is home to one of only four original Magna Carta, which dates back to 1215 A.D., and set out the constitution for the country.

Alternatively, enjoy some time at leisure to explore this historic town, browsing the shops or enjoying a tasty lunch at one of the many pubs or cafes, before heading back to port.
