What you will visit:
Skagen
Denmark's main fishing port bustles with the activity of a leading shipyard industry and daily fish auctions. Its charming city center boasts signature yellow houses with red tile roofs. Its magnificent countryside, wide sandy beaches, picturesque vistas and thriving cultural scene attract over two million people to its shores annually. In the 19th century, a group of impressionist artists, known collectively as the Skagen painters, flocked to Skagen's shores to capture its seascapes and luminescent light.
What you will see along the way:
The authentic beauty of Skagen comes to life when you discover its charms via motorcoach. Your guided tour meanders throughout this picturesque fishing town and takes you past the white picket fences that front pretty painted homes topped with red roofs, as well as past the local highlights and beautiful scenery that has made it an artists destination for centuries. Heading out to its environs, see the unusual vistas carved by sand dunes, a series of light houses along the coast and the unique natural wonder of Grenen, where two seas meet and the colliding waves are a sight to behold.
