What you will visit:

Catania
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this exciting city is built on an ancient ruin. The Piazza Duomo is the site of some of the city's greatest treasures, including the symbol of the city – the smiling lava-stone elephant topped by an obelisk, called the Fontana dell'Elefante – as well as the Cattedrale di Sant'Agata, where the relics of the city's patron saint lie in rest. The Fontana Dell'Amenano leads the way to the famous fish market and the excellent seafood restaurants it services.

Mt. Etna
At approximately 11,000 feet, Mount Etna is the tallest European volcano and one of the most active in the world. The peak offers awe-inspiring views of the crater and lava streams, and the lower Cratere Silvestri area houses a cluster of bars and restaurants while offering magnificent panoramic vistas of the Catania Gulf and the fertile vineyards and orchards that lie at the foot of the mountain.

Lunch:
In the picturesque setting under the towering Mount Etna, enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
