Begin your journey with a visit to the Legendary Love Statue, a 21-metre-tall copper statue representing the lovers Preah Thong and Neang Neak, ancestors of all Khmer people, whose story is also performed by the Royal Ballet of Cambodia.
Next, visit the Shiva Statue, honoring the God of Destruction, who is also revered as the Supreme Being and Destroyer of Evil.
With our visit at the local government school called Hun Sen Ream Primary School, we will receive a warm welcome from the local students and teachers who will be excited, enthusiastic and proud to show you around the grounds. This gives a direct insight into the Cambodian education system and teaching methods in rural communities.

As we continue to a local village house and experience some local traditional. Time to return back to the port, hopefully feeling enriched and even a little enlightened about the enchanting country of Cambodia.
Just up the road in this small sleepy town we find ourselves at the Ream Pagoda. This local pagoda is filled with a rich history that your local, knowledgeable tour guide will be able to provide you with as you step back into Cambodia's spiritual & cultural traditions. Inhale the sweet scent of incense sticks set smoldering to pay appreciation and respect to the spirits. Explore the many glorious statues created by the local people from the original mountain stone. In this peaceful place, we can sip a fresh coconut as you take in your surroundings.

We have a quick stop at the very local and bustling market, gives you an insight into how Cambodian's provide for their families on a day to day basis, a trip to the market daily is necessary for most families who cook their meals fresh.
