What you will visit:

Woodinville Valley & Wine Tastings
Just outside Seattle, Woodinville is the center of western Washington's wine scene and home to more than 100 tasting rooms and wineries producing acclaimed vintages from Columbia Valley grapes. During your adventure, enjoy guided tours and tastings at two contrasting producers. In the Warehouse District, a boutique winery focuses on small-lot Rhône varietals that highlight balance and freshness. At a nearby estate winery, Bordeaux-style blends are crafted from sustainably farmed, hand-harvested fruit grown in eastern Washington's ideal wine climate. Together, these visits provide a clear introduction to Washington's diverse grape varieties, growing conditions, and winemaking approaches.

What you will see along the way:
Settle into the motorcoach for an approximately 60-minute drive from port to Woodinville, a wine destination with a small-town feel. Leaving the downtown waterfront, cross Lake Washington via a floating bridge, with views of water, houseboats, and distant mountains on clear days. As you approach, the setting becomes more pastoral, with farmland and wine estates that define the local wine scene.

Tastings:
Enjoy guided tastings at two Woodinville wineries, each showing a different style of Washington wine. In the Warehouse District, try small-lot Rhône varietals made in a balanced new–old world style. Then at an estate winery, sample Bordeaux-style blends from Columbia Valley grapes. Across both stops, taste wines from Cabernet Sauvignon to Sauvignon Blanc while learning how local growing conditions influence flavor.
