The sights and sounds of Sardinia, from its incredible scenery to its music and dance, await your discovery when you tour Cagliari by motorcoach on this four-hour tour designed for guests who prefer little or no walking.

Board the comfortable motorcoach and settle in as the scenery goes by. Take in the sights as you climb to the top of Mount Urpinu, a large and lush public park high on a hilltop that offers magnificent panoramic views of the entire city. You'll want to disembark to take photos that capture the port of Cagliari, the salt works, and Sardinia's sparkling coastline all the way to the Molentargius Pond, which several species of birds, including pink flamingos, use as a nesting ground.

Your destination is the charming farming community of Maracalagonis, nestled in the eastern part of Cagliari's Campidano area at the foot of the Sette Fratelli Mountains. The locals have held on to many age-old traditions, and you'll visit Casa Atzeri, a privately owned home, where you'll be greeted by Mr. Vincenzo, a cheerful representative of the traditions and culture of Sardinia.

To your delight, a group of local performers dressed in colorful Sardinian garb will entertain you with a traditional folkloric dance show. The music and merriment is so infectious, you might find yourself learning a few steps and getting in on the action.

Refreshments are served in this relaxed setting and may include an assortment of local cheeses, vegetables, olives and salamis and homemade bread. A taste of the local wine and Mirto, a sweet desert wine, is also served.
