You'll see intact mosaics, a Carthaginian temple, Roman baths, and a Roman theater that is still used today. Situated upon a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, you'll experience breathtaking views of the beaches and the Tower of Coltellazzo in the distance. On your return, stop to photograph from the distance the Sant'Efisio Church, dedicated to the patron saint of Cagliari.

Cagliari

You'll see the Tower of St. Pancras, Piazza Arsenale, ancient Sardinian artifacts in the Archeological Museum, (closed on Mondays) and a unique mix of medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture at the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Castello. Enjoy a short time to explore on your own before your motorcoach will drive you to photo opportunities at Bonaria Basilica and the top of Mount Urpinu for magnificent panoramic views of the entire city.

Maracalagonis
You'll visit Casa Atzeri, a privately-owned home nestled at the foot of the Sette Fratelli Mountains, where you'll be greeted by Mr. Vincenzo, a cheerful representative of the traditions and culture of Sardinia. Enjoy a folkloric dance performance and sample local treats and wine, including Mirto, a sweet dessert wine.
