Strenuous Activity
Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Board your motorboat launch in Alghero and set out on a 47-mile roundtrip cruise along the amazing Riviera del Corallo named for its dramatic red-rock formations. We'll set a course for Cape Caccia up north. Take in the dramatic views of Porto Conte and the Alghero coast. The fine natural harbor of Porto Conte lies seven miles to the northwest, with clear blue water and rocky cliffs.
Neptune's Cave, near the old Port of Nymphs, is the most impressive of the deep marine caves present in the area.
From the hilltop, a "goat path" of 654 steps leads downward to enter a deep-cave system carved out by the sea.
Venture into Neptune's Cave onboard your motor launch and, after negotiating a few steps, marvel at the impressive rock formations.
There is an interior lake below the headland. The sculpted stalactite rocks produce a forest of columns, clustered like organ pipes. From our sea-level vantage point, snap a few shots of the famed Grotta di Nettuno or Grottos of Neptune before disembarking from the boat for a visit of the Grotto.
Next you we will reach Cala Dragunara to Relax and enjoy this tranquil place with white sand framed by the wild green grasses, jagged rockery and the crystal-clear blue sea. For your enjoyment, light snacks and soft drinks will be served during the cruise.
