WHAT YOU VISIT
Blue Eye National Park
Covering an area of 180 hectares (444 acres), the park is a lush landscape of palm trees, wild ferns and tropical plants, as well as dense, mountainous forest vegetation of oaks and sycamores. Set among this tropical-like environment are 18 very deep and cold natural freshwater springs. Follow your guide to the most beautiful-a lovely spot shaded by centuries old oak trees. Described by Lonely Planet as "a hypnotic pool of deep blue water surrounded by electric-blue edges like the iris of an eye," the "Blue Eye" is a legendary spring where it was believed a 12-headed dragon jealously guarded and held back the spring waters from the villagers.
