Santa Margherita, Rapallo and Portofino Walking Tours
One of the best ways to get to know the Ligurian region is a walking tour of three of its most popular villages beginning with Santa Margherita. Your guide will lead you along vibrant streets past Villa Durazzo, a 17th-century noble residence surrounded by lush gardens, and the Church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia, dedicated to the town's beloved patron saint. Once you reach the pier, you'll board a motorboat to Rapallo. Stroll along the seaside promenade with views of Rapallo Castle and into the historic heart of the city for an espresso and snacks at a café before re-boarding the motor-boat to Portofino. Here, you'll pay an outside visit to Saint George's Church, believed to hold the preserved saint's relics. Following a stop in the colorful La Piazzetta, you'll take a small path independently to the lighthouse for panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities.

Your memory card will be filled with one vibrant image after another on this fun and fascinating tour. While visiting Portofino, you may wish to focus your lens on La Piazzetta. This iconic square is home to restaurants, shops. pastel-hued buildings and a harbor filled with luxurious yachts.
