Private Tour of Villa Esedra Estate
Set near the village of Sestri Levante in the heart of the Ligurian Riviera, the family-owned Villa Esedra Estate is one of a few Ligurian producers of Celso olive oil, prized for its delicate, light, and fruity flavor made with hand-picked Taggiasca olives. A private tour led by owner Orietta or Raffaella Rimassa includes the mansion, oil mill and gardens. As you meander along the estate's romantic paths you'll learn that the estate was built upon the ancient Roman concept of a rustic villa that served as a rural factory for agricultural production.

Villa Esedra has breathtaking views over the Gulf of Tigullio and the Bay of Silence that's known for its crystal-clear waters and crescent-shaped beach.
SNACKS
Following the tour, you'll be treated to a tasting of the villa's own olive oil, accompanied by homemade bread and served with local wine.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Nestled between Genoa and Cinque Terre, the 45-minute ride from Santa Margherita travels a scenic route past palm trees, bustling streets, seaside villages and the Mediterranean Sea.

Wear comfortable walking shoes. The tour requires walking on uneven ground and cobblestones. Must be 18 years old to drink wine. Villa Esedra can only be reached by sedan and mini vans. The tour will be operated with 7-seater mini-vans which can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. Not suitable for guests with mobility challenges.
