What you will visit:

Balboa Park (walking)
A 1,200-acre urban oasis, Balboa Park is home to 16 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, and beautiful and diverse gardens, each offering up its own unique theme. A stroll among the park's heritage treasures, architectural buildings, stunning foliage and historic sights is restful and culturally enriching.

La Jolla (walking)
A seaside enclave that sparkles in the sun, La Jolla is San Diego's "Jewel by the Sea." It has inspired artists for generations with its natural beauty, beautiful beaches and dramatic coastline. The village is a pedestrian-friendly area with wide streets lined with art galleries, cafes and fashionable boutiques.

Old Town
San Diego's "Old Town" charms with its shops, restaurants and quaint buildings. Considered the birthplace of California, this historic district was the site of the first Spanish settlement in California in 1769. As you walk through the reconstructed heritage buildings, travel back in time to the period between 1821 and 1872 to imagine a time when the little town evolved from being a Mexican pueblo to an American settlement.

What you will see along the way:
San Diego's rich past dates back to 1542 when explorer Juan Cabrillo claimed the area for Spain. Gaze out the window at the beautiful coastal landscapes, lush gardens, and iconic architecture. You'll take in sweeping views of San Diego Harbor and the Embarcadero, a bustling boardwalk on the waterfront. See charming Seaport Village, the historic Gaslamp Quarter with its grand Victorian-era buildings and the shoreline of beautiful La Jolla.

Shopping:
You'll find trendy boutiques and art galleries in fashionable La Jolla. Old Town offers a completely different shopping experience, with curios, funky souvenirs and authentic Mexican art.
