What you will visit:

Saint John (guided tour)
Situated on Canada's southeastern Atlantic seaboard, where the Bay of Fundy meets the Saint John River, the harbor town of Saint John blends its maritime heritage with modern flair. The landmarks that have survived centuries are stalwart emblems of the oldest incorporated city in Canada.

Old City Market
Located in the heart of Saint John, the oldest working farmers' market in Canada is still a popular meeting place for local residents. The market first opened in 1876 and its distinctive roof mimics the shape of a ship's hull.

Reversing Rapids
Fallsview Park offers the best vantage point in the city to witness the Reversing Rapids. This unique natural phenomenon caused by the monstrously high tides of the Bay of Fundy that reverse the flow of the powerful Saint John River.

Carleton Martello Tower
One of 16 defensive forts originally erected across Canada, Carleton Martello Tower is a cultural treasure built by the British to protect Saint John from an American attack during the War of 1812.

What you will see along the way:

On your guided drive travel along Prince William Street while your guide regales you with stories behind the unique architecture of the attractive stone buildings that were built after the Great Fire of 1877. Many of the lovely structures in the city's historic district, are now modern establishments.

Photo Opportunity:

Perched atop a rocky cliff, Fort Howe, offers commanding view of Saint John, your ship, and the Bay of Fundy.
