What you will visit:

Fundy National Park (drive)
The Bay of Fundy is one of the seven wonders of North America and home to whales, semiprecious minerals and even dinosaur fossils. A hundred billion tons of water pour into the Bay of Fundy from the Atlantic Ocean, and the high-tide water level can rise to a staggering four stories. As a result, the fertile region is rich in coastal beauty with scenic vistas of jagged cliffs, jade foliage, and ecological wonders.
Hopewell Rocks
The icon of New Brunswick, witness the clash of continents, carved by melting glaciers, then sculpted by the highest tides in the world. Twice daily, one hundred billion tons of water creates tides that can rise up to 50 feet.

What you will see along the way:
This delightful day begins at the pier where you'll board your motorcoach and travel along the picturesque Fundy Coastal Drive. The Bay is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, UNESCO's conservation and sustainable development arm for areas that have terrestrial and coastal marine ecosystems. Pass through Fundy National Park where you can often spot various bird species and an occasional moose.

Photo Opportunity:
On your return drive, stop for a photo opportunity at a beautiful beach on the edge of Fundy National Park.

Lunch:
Your tour includes a boxed lunch that you can enjoy at your leisure.

Shopping:
You'll have time to visit the gift shop at Hopewell Rocks for colorful souvenirs.

Special Notes

Due to the extreme nature of the Bay of Fundy tides, the stage of the tide cycle during your visit cannot be guaranteed. Walking on the ocean floor is only possible at low tide and at guest's discretion. Guests must be able to walk approximately 300 yards over pebbled and wet surfaces, and maneuver approximately 100 steps; however, the iconic Hopewell "flowerpot" rocks can be viewed at any time from the lookout. Transfer time to Hopewell Rocks is approximately two hours and 15 minutes each way.

On the following dates in 2026 it will not be possible to walk on the ocean floor due to the stage of tidal activity during your visit: September 25th and October 11th.
