What you will visit:
SNUBA by Boat
SNUBA, short for Surface Nexus Underwater Breathing Apparatus, is an innovative shallow-water diving system that allows you to breathe underwater without the need for traditional scuba equipment or certification. Air is supplied from a tank floating on a surface raft through a long hose connected to a lightweight regulator, allowing you to move freely beneath the surface while remaining connected to the air supply. Guided by certified SNUBA instructors, you'll explore Roatán's spectacular barrier reef at a comfortable depth while observing vibrant coral formations and the diverse marine life that inhabits these protected Caribbean waters. Designed for a wide range of ages and comfort levels in the water, SNUBA offers an accessible introduction to underwater exploration in one of the Caribbean's most remarkable reef ecosystems.
Beach Break:
Your tropical escape includes free time on the beach. Swim in the warm Caribbean waters, relax on the soft sand, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings before sitting down to a traditional Honduran lunch.
What you will see along the way:
Travel by boat to the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world's second-largest barrier reef system, where crystal-clear Caribbean waters reveal a remarkable underwater landscape. Beneath the surface, colorful coral formations provide habitat for an abundance of tropical marine life, including brightly colored reef fish, with the chance to spot graceful southern stingrays, sea fans, and sponges. Every SNUBA experience offers a unique opportunity to explore one of the Caribbean's most diverse marine ecosystems.
Lunch:
After working up an appetite, tuck into a traditional Honduran lunch. Select from lemon mustard chicken, beef fajitas, or BBQ pork, accompanied by your choice of two side dishes: rice and beans, potato salad, coleslaw, or cold pasta. Your meal is also served with fresh handmade tortillas, a refreshing seasonal fruit drink, and purified water.
