The Acropolis of Lindos
Rising 400 feet above the village of Lindos, the legendary Acropolis of Lindos is a testament to the civilizations that once ruled the island. Using the virtual reality tablet and headset, these ancient ruins are resurrected. Just point the tablet's camera at various locations and view them in their original form. Watch them "rise from the ruins" as you walk up to the hilltop citadel. Marvel at the walls and towers built by the Crusaders in the 14th century. Walk through the Propylaea to the 4th century B.C. Temple of Athena and watch it "come to life" ready to greet devotees of the Greek goddess. At the conclusion of your adventure, you'll descend back to the village through steep narrow streets, passing beautiful white terraced houses built for the rich ship owners or sea captains in the 16th and 17th centuries.
