Puffins and Seabirds RIB Adventure
Witness the charm of Iceland's adorable puffins and seabirds in their natural habitat on Akurey or Lundey islands from a seat in a custom-made RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat). Capable of startling acrobatic maneuvers and high speeds, RIBs provide an excellent vehicle for this exhilarating excursion. Before boarding, you'll receive a safety briefing and suit up in a life jacket. Then, hang on as the captain revs the engine and steers the RIB out of the harbor and onto the crystal blue waters of the North Atlantic. Limited to a maximum of 12 passengers per boat, you're assured a more engaging and educational experience.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Have your camera ready as the boat maneuvers as close as possible to the birds. At times, the engines will be switched off, providing a tranquil interlude for the birds and guests to relish the serenity of nature.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As you sail from the Old Harbor in Reykjavik, you'll marvel at the diverse array of seabirds coexisting harmoniously on these quaint islands just off the coast of Reykjavík – puffins, auks, gannets and more nesting on the rugged sea cliffs.

Minimum age allowed 10 years & minimum height limit of 57 inches. This tour may not be suitable for pregnant women. Consult your doctor before signing up. This tour is not recommended for those with history of back and knee problems or severe heart conditions. Puffin season is from approximately May - August. Wildlife sightings are not always guaranteed. Participants sign a waiver before undertaking all trips. This boat is not exclusive.
