FlyOver Iceland
Take flight and travel through time and space with FlyOver Iceland, a unique, exhilarating virtual ride that combines history, scenery and storytelling with state-of-the-art technology. From volcanoes and glaciers to Vikings, trolls and more, it's a powerful and memorable experience. Once in the boarding zone, you'll embark on an adventure where spectacular aerial footage simulates the graceful motion of flight. Thrill as you're raised high into the air in front of a 65-foot wraparound screen and glide over a volcanic crater lake, descend into the magma chamber of an extinct volcano, and feel the Arctic wind as you swoop over icy glaciers.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Before taking off, you'll meet Sú Vitra (The Wise One), a character based on a local troll legend, and an Icelandic storyteller who will welcome you into an ancient Viking longhouse for ancient tales around a fire.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From the pier, you'll head to Reykjavík's historic and popular Grandi Harbor District, home of restaurants, museums and shops.
