This immersive and awe-inspiring experience lets you see, smell, hear, and feel the intense heat of molten lava-offering a rare and mesmerizing glimpse into Iceland's fiery heart.
FlyOver Iceland
Suspended before a massive 20-meter (65 feet) spherical screen, you'll feel the exhilarating sensation of soaring across Iceland, enhanced by wind, mist, and scents that make this ride incredibly lifelike.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
The great contrast between the bright orange of the molten lava and the dark showroom offers mesmerizing photos.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As your tour concludes, enjoy a scenic drive back to the pier, passing the iconic Harpa Concert Hall, a masterpiece of modern architecture, and the historic Höfði House where, in 1986, US President Ronald Reagan and General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev of the Soviet Union met to discuss the end of the Cold War.

Special Notes
While Lava Show is highly educational and family friendly, the show may not be best suited for the very youngest age group (0-4 years). A substantial part of the show involves spoken language (in English) by a live host that may render the little ones restless. Parents are responsible for their children's behavior and are kindly asked to voluntarily leave the showroom with their children if they struggle to stay seated and quiet during the show. This is for the sake of our hosts and our other guests. Thank you for understanding.
To enter FlyOver Iceland, children must be at least 100cm (40") tall. The FlyOver Iceland experience requires standing for between 20 and 30 minutes, and ascending and descending stairs. If you anticipate having difficulty with standing for 30 minutes, upon arriving at the attraction, please advise one of the Flight Guides, and they will accommodate you to the best of their ability, by providing a folding chair at certain points and minimizing the number of stairs you will have to climb or, if necessary, they will assist you in using our internal lift. While FlyOver Iceland is meant for all ages and the ride movement is gently thrilling, guests with the following conditions should not ride and ride at their own risk Chronic back or neck pain, heart conditions, photosensitive epilepsy or conditions aggravated by visual stimuli such as flashing ride. Although most people don't experience any issues with the motion or the elevation-even those who, at times, experience such difficulties-a very small percentage of the public may find it uncomfortable. Therefore, if you are particularly susceptible to motion sickness or fear of heights, you may wish to consider refraining from participating. Industry guidelines advise that pregnant women should not participate in motion rides. Although FlyOver Iceland is a very gentle motion ride, we follow the industry guidelines and ask expectant mothers to refrain from taking the ride.
