Follow a moderately paced 1.5-mile route along sandy paths and established trails, surrounded by tropical palms, sea grape trees, and native vegetation. Along the way, spot wildlife including curly-tailed lizards and more than 40 bird species, such as Bahama mockingbirds and gray catbirds. Your guide shares stories of the island's past, from early inhabitants to piracy and settlement, with stops at small historical ruins that reveal its layered history.
What you will see along the way:
As you approach RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, you'll take in picture-postcard views of turquoise waters giving way to a wide stretch of white sand and a low, natural shoreline. Palm trees and landscaped pathways line the developed areas, while much of the island remains untouched. In the distance, you'll see Bonefish Lagoon, a large inland lagoon and bird habitat surrounded by mangroves.
