It's all waiting for you at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, a pristine island paradise offering endless ways to shape your perfect day. Famed for its expansive crescent shoreline, soft white sand, and striking turquoise waters, it stands out as one of the Caribbean's premier beach escapes. The walkable layout keeps the beach, calm water, dining, and activity areas within comfortable reach. Trams are available for longer distances if needed. A complimentary island barbecue is served near the main beach, with nearby bars and the Straw Market adding to the experience. Surrounded by swaying palms, protected lagoons, and native birdlife, this Bahamian retreat feels effortless from the moment you arrive.

Horseback Riding by Land & Sea

Take the reins for one of RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay's most unforgettable experiences. After a short tram ride to the corral, you'll receive an orientation before setting out on a guided one-hour ride through the paddocks and along the bay, with scenic views along the way. Back at the corral, enjoy a refreshment while your horse is prepared for the next part of the excursion with a special swim pad and rope halter. Then comes the highlight: riding your horse into the ocean and remaining mounted as it swims through the calm, turquoise water. After this one-of-a-kind experience, return by tram to the Welcome Center.

What you will see along the way:

As you approach RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, you'll take in picture-postcard views of turquoise waters giving way to a wide stretch of white sand and a low, natural shoreline. Palm trees and landscaped pathways line the developed areas, while much of the island remains untouched. In the distance, you'll see Bonefish Lagoon, a large inland lagoon and bird habitat surrounded by mangroves. It's a quiet, scenic arrival that gives you a sense of both the island's beauty and its preserved surroundings.
