WHAT YOU VISIT
Venice
See Venice's most popular landmarks on a tour crafted for debarkation day. After arriving at Tronchetto, Venice' bus terminal, you'll board a privately chartered boat that will take you into the heart of Venice. Once in the city you'll have the flexibility and independence to explore Venice according to your own interests and take in the sights at your own pace or go beyond to create your own intimate connections and unique cultural encounters. With two hours of free time, you can take a memorable selfie with the Bridge of Sighs, stroll through St. Mark's Square, home to the city's most famous buildings-Doge's Palace, a symbol of the republic and excellent example of fine Venetian Gothic architecture; and St. Mark's Basilica, built in the 9th century to house the body of St. Mark the Apostle. Meet back with your tour escort who will be waiting for your boat ride back to Tronchetto, and board your bus to Venice Marco Polo Airport.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
While every inch of Venice offers memorable photos, be sure to focus your lens on St. Mark's Basilica, Venice's iconic symbol. Crowned with domes, adorned with marble and precious stones, and embellished with reliefs, columns, and sculptures, it's a sight to behold.
LUNCH
One of the joys of foreign travel is discovering new cuisine. If you've worked up an appetite, stop in a neighborhood bar called a bacari and order appetizers known as cicchetti.
SHOPPING
Burano lace, leather goods and Venetian masks are popular souvenirs.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Picturesque views from your window are abundant as you journey north from Ravenna.
Special Notes
Note: This tour is available to all guests flying out of Venice (Marco Polo airport) after 5.00 p.m. on the day of disembarkation. Your luggage will travel with you and be stored onboard the bus. Guide service, entrance fees and lunch are not included in this experience.
