WHAT YOU VISIT
CROC Sky Walk Center
An excursion to the CROC Sky Walk Center is an experience not to be missed. Set at an elevated aerial viewing position about 15 to 20 meters (roughly 50 to 65 feet) off the ground, you can safely watch some of the largest American crocodiles in the world on a glass-bottom viewing platform directly above the Tárcoles River. You'll have time to browse a wide selection of local souvenirs and handcrafted products, enjoy tropical fruit samples, sip freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee, and watch a semi-industrial chocolate-making demonstration.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
From the viewing platform, you'll have magnificent views of the American crocodiles, which can reach 4.5 to 6 meters (15 to 20 feet) in length and weigh up to 907 kilograms (2,000 pounds). The Tarcoles River is also home to scarlet macaws and over 400 species of birds. And if you're lucky, you may see a white-faced capuchin monkey or howler monkey hiding in the trees.

The CROC Sky Walk Center has a few cafes, so you can purchase a snack if you get hungry.

Spanning more than 1,000 square meters (3,280 feet), the retail center boasts
over 11,000 regional products, including handcrafted souvenirs and textiles.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From Puntarenas, you'll wind your way through a mixed eco-system of dry forest and lush rainforest with strangler figs and trumpet trees along the roadside.
