What you will visit:

Kayaking the Strait of Magellan
Follow in the wake of great explorers as you set out to experience the legendary Strait of Magellan by sea kayak. The adventure begins with a scenic drove to Agua Fresca Bay, where you'll receive a briefing on tandem paddling techniques, equipment and safety. Soon after, you'll launch your double kayak and begin gliding across the strait, surrounded by striking natural scenery. Seabirds such as gulls, ducks, caiquenes, cormorants and quetros are commonly seen overhead, while migrating Peale's dolphins may swim playfully alongside. The steady rhythm of paddling, paired with the sights and sounds of the strait, makes for an experience that is at once serene and invigorating for your 60 minutes on the water.

What you will see along the way:
As you travel by motorcoach to Agua Fresca Bay, you will pass through the outskirts of Punta Arenas, catching glimpses of colorful homes, small farms and the wide-open Patagonian landscape. Along the coast, look for fishing boats and seabirds as the road follows the shoreline of the legendary Strait of Magellan. Once on the water, take in sweeping views of the strait itself, framed by hills and rugged coastline.

Snack:
A light snack of cookies accompanied by hot chocolate or coffee will be served after your kayaking adventure.
