La Dulce Vista Rancho Hotel & Villas
Nestled in a lush canyon near the Mascota River, this inviting boutique mountain retreat and ranch is an ideal location to a swim in the pool or relax in a hammock overlooking the river canyon. Then, get ready to drift down the Mascota River in a river tube. Don't fret if you're new to tubing; experienced guides will provide a full safety briefing and safety helmet. As you lazily float down the river's clear waters, you'll be surrounded by towering canyon walls and tropical vegetation.
Hacienda Doña Engracia
Since 1927, this family-run distillery has crafted artisanal selections of tequila. Learn the stories, traditions, and craftsmanship behind Mexico's most iconic spirit you sample Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo tequilas.

The ride down the winding Mascota River may be slow-moving to rapid depending on the amount of rain received in the area. Along the way, you can snap away at the rugged rock ledges and rich jungle vegetation lining the bank.

Dine al fresco at Hacienda Doña Engracia. On the menu are tasty tacos with handmade corn tortillas, fresh guacamole, and molcajete-style salsas.

Wear a swimsuit under your clothes. Bring sunblock, sunglasses and towel. Water shoes, tennis shoes or closed sandals (that you do not mind getting wet) are required. Water shoes are available for purchase at La Dulce Vista.
Minimum age to participate is 9, max age 70. Max weight allowed is 250 lbs.This active excursion is suitable only for Guests in good physical condition. Pregnant Guests, or those with heart, neck or back conditions may not participate.
Helmets and life-jackets will be provided and must be worn.Wet bags will be provided.
The speed of the river depends on the amount of rain received in the area. It can vary from slow-moving to rapid.
