Escondida Lagoon Kayak Adventure
A perfect blend of paddling, scenery and fresh mountain air, this adventure reveals the rhythm of life in Chile's remarkable Lake District. Over the course of two hours, your stable kayak glides through crystal-clear waterways framed by snow-capped volcanoes and breathtaking vistas. Following a safety briefing and equipment check, you'll depart from La Poza Lagoon-a serene, sheltered stretch of water surrounded by lush greenery-and begin your paddle across Escondida Lagoon. As you move through the stillness, the distant calls of native birds and the commanding silhouette of Calbuco Volcano create an unforgettable backdrop for this invigorating eco-experience.

What You'll See Along the Way: It's a 45-minute motorcoach ride from the port, traveling north through Chile's picturesque Lake District. You'll pass the charming town of Puerto Varas and follow the shoreline of Lake Llanquihue, the country's second-largest lake. Along the way, take in sweeping views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Just beyond Puerto Varas, you'll arrive at La Poza Lagoon, an inviting stretch of calm, sheltered water surrounded by lush greenery, before paddling across nearby Escondida Lagoon.
