Special Notes
This tour involves around 1 hour of walking over some cobbled and uneven ground, including steps. It is important to note that the trams have their original engine, which adds to the charm, and they will generate some noise. Be advised there are some fairly high steps to be negotiated when boarding the tram. The street leading to and from the Ribeira Quarter is on an incline and cobbled. Flat, comfortable shoes are recommended. Tour operates in all weather conditions. The itinerary may operate in reverse order. Guests under 18 years of age are not allowed to drink alcohol.
The tram may be subject to some delays due to local traffic or obstruction.
Marathons and other events may take place on Sundays, and as a result, traffic in Porto may be blocked along the Marginal up to Castelo do Queijo, in the Ribeira area, and may also affect traffic on the bridges.
Street works, and road closures or traffic changes may occur without prior notice. This tour is not suitable for guests using mobility devices and walking difficulties.
