WHAT YOU VISIT
Sibuya Game Reserve
Located on the Eastern Cape's Sunshine Coast, this family-run 4-star, malaria-free eco-reserve is South Africa's only game reserve accessed by boat. The days adventure begins with tea/coffee at Sibuya's Visitor Centre after you will board your 4x4 with a knowledgeable guide for a three tour game drive. You'll ooh and ahh as you traverse spectacular landscapes in search of the "Big Five," plus giraffes, zebras, monkeys, and impalas, and rare species such as the bontebok and the oribi.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Coined by big game hunters, the "Big Five" are just a few of the fascinating creatures you'll see while on a game drive through Sibuya Game Reserve. Sibuya is also known for 400 species of birds, making it one of the Eastern Cape's top places for birding. Common residents include the western osprey, African fish-eagle, goshawk, goliath heron, half-collared kingfisher, Narina trogon, and the long-crested eagle.
LUNCH
After the drive, you'll board a boat and cruise to the Jetty Visitors Center for a delicious buffet lunch that includes one drink per person (local beer, house wine, soft drinks).
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Enjoy a scenic drive to Kenton on Sea with Eastern Cape's vast grasslands before arriving at Sibuya.

Special Notes
Cellular phones usage during game drives is not permitted, as well as speak loudly or stand up on the game drive vehicles, as this will disturb the animals. Smoking is not permitted during the game-drive. The tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties or in wheelchairs as they will not be able to get into and out of the 4x4 vehicles and boat cruise. The roads in the game reserve are gravel. There are also inclines and certain parts of the game-drive can be bumpy. Not recommended for guests with back and neck problems. Comfortable clothing, a jacket, sunglasses, binoculars and a sun hat are strongly recommended. Animal sightings are not guaranteed. The minimum age to participate is 6. Guests need to negotiate 35 steps from the reception to where the jetty is to board the boat for the river cruise.
